Dave McGuire began his career in music retail working for Tower Records in both Glasgow, where he was reggae and soundtracks buyer, and London, where he became assistant manager of the Camden branch. Began working in music business doing freelance press work for World Music Network on their long running Rough Guide series and Riverboat Records releases from 2002 to 2003. From 2003 he has been worldwide press and publicity co-ordinator for World Circuit Records working with Grammy winning artists such as Buena Vista Social Club, Ali Farka Toure and Toumani Diabate. In addition to this Dave manages all of the label's website and social networking content, and is responsible for World Circuit's extensive image database.
